Hujjah Academy

Hujjah Academy is for nurturing thinking believers. It is where classically trained scholars meets with academic scholarship. Since God is the true source of all diversity and everything returns back to Him, so it is the case with knowledge.

We seek to bring to life the timelessness of Islam as a civilizational-based worldview through offering short courses that are rooted, practical and spiritually empowering.

Why Hujjah?

Our academy is named after a masterpiece, the Hujjah Allah al-Balighah, the Conclusive Proof of God, written by arguably one of the greatest thinkers in Islamic civilization and thought, Shah Wali Allah of Delhi (d.1762). Wali Allah was a polymath who displayed wide-ranging expertise of the sciences of his day. His emphasis on building on what preceded him without being bound to it, and his creative synthesis of the many intellectual streams of Islamic thought and practice, is what our academy seeks to articulate. Islamic thought, practice and aesthetics all point to the ineffable love of God. An affection that resonates with humanity’s inherent primordial love for Him.
